Ingredients
2lbs of cubed beef- you can use stew meat, I prefer to buy steak and cut it up, for the tenderness
1/2 medium onion, chopped
2 cups sliced mushrooms (optional)
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 package of brown gravy mix (mixed with 1 cup of beef broth)
1/8 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2(total) cups of beef broth
2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
salt & pepper to taste

Directions
- In a large, deep skillet, heat oil over med/high heat
- Sautee onions and garlic, cook until onions are translucent, then add the mushrooms.
- Add cubed meat, cook until meat is just browned on all sides, roughly 3-5 minutes.
- Pour Worcestershire, soy sauce, 1 cup of beef broth into the skillet with the meat and vegetables, stir in salt & pepper to taste.
- Bring this mixture to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer for 1- 1 1/2 hours, if you need you can add a additional 1/2 cup of water.
- Mix gravy mix with 1 cup of beef broth, mix thoroughly, add to meat mixture, bring to a boil, stirring frequently until mixture thickens.
Serve over egg noodles, rice or cauliflower rice
