Cherry Dump Cake

1 Box of yellow or white cake mix (I’ve always only used yellow)

1 21 oz can of cherry pie filling

1 20 oz can of crushed pineapple (don’t drain)

1 cup of BUTTER (2 sticks)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  1. Spray 9×13 pan with cooking spray
  2. Pour cherry pie filling and pineapple into the baking dish, and stir it all up
  3. Open cake mix bag, pour dry cake mix all over the cherry and pineapple mixture, distributing as evenly as possible.
  4. Slice your butter up, I always cut each stick into about 16 cubes, and evenly try to make sure most of my cake is covered, this is just preference, you can do 8 on each and place wherever you desire.. it all works out in the end.
  5. Place your cake in the oven, and bake for 50 minutes, or until you reach the desired results.  Mine last night I baked for 45 minutes, everybody’s ovens are different, I think..
  6. Eat it while it’s hot, it’s SO good……
