1 Box of yellow or white cake mix (I’ve always only used yellow)
1 21 oz can of cherry pie filling
1 20 oz can of crushed pineapple (don’t drain)
1 cup of BUTTER (2 sticks)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray 9×13 pan with cooking spray
- Pour cherry pie filling and pineapple into the baking dish, and stir it all up
- Open cake mix bag, pour dry cake mix all over the cherry and pineapple mixture, distributing as evenly as possible.
- Slice your butter up, I always cut each stick into about 16 cubes, and evenly try to make sure most of my cake is covered, this is just preference, you can do 8 on each and place wherever you desire.. it all works out in the end.
- Place your cake in the oven, and bake for 50 minutes, or until you reach the desired results. Mine last night I baked for 45 minutes, everybody’s ovens are different, I think..
- Eat it while it’s hot, it’s SO good……
